There is a dearth of media spaces hosting left political perspectives intent on fundamentally transforming our world. We started Spectre journal to provide a forum for those with just such politics—egalitarian, democratic, Marxist, socialist, internationalist, and inclusive of all antioppression struggles.
Our goal is to advance both the theoretical and strategic conversations for those committed to emancipatory politics. We’ve featured leading scholars and organizers from the United States and beyond in discussions ranging across the political economy of capitalism, global solidarity, international politics, organizing strategy, mass culture, and antiracist, feminist, LGBTQ+, and working class struggles.
Digital institutional subscriptions include full access to our complete archive of twelve issues.
